Who We Are

Our website address is: https://venndesignstudios.com and we create pitch decks, presentations, and other creative media assets, such as templates, to our clients.

What Information Do We Collect?

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help malfeasance detection. We do not collect any personal identifiable information other than when a comment or question is sent to us via the form, in which case we collect what information is entered into the form fields.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment. We collect information about visitors who comment on Sites that use our Akismet service. The information we collect depends on how the User sets up Akismet for the Site, but typically includes the commenter’s IP address, user agent, referrer, and Site URL (along with other information directly provided by the commenter such as their name, username, email address, and the comment itself).

Comments

Upon submitting a comment on our platform, we gather the essential information presented in the form. For the purposes of robust spam detection, we also register your IP address and the specific browser information.

Users leveraging the Gravatar service should be informed: an encrypted version of your email may be forwarded to Gravatar to verify usage. Following the verification and approval of your comment, your Gravatar profile image becomes publicly linked with your comment. Media

We urge users to exercise caution when uploading images if we ever allow it. It is prudent to remove any embedded location details (EXIF GPS) prior to upload to prevent unwanted location data extraction by subsequent site visitors. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website that contain this data, hence removing it offers identity and location protection.

Cookies

Should you leave a comment, there exists an option to retain your name, email, and website using cookies. This is intended for your convenience, eliminating the need to re-enter details for future comments. Such cookies have a lifespan of one year.

Visiting our login page initiates a temporary cookie to ascertain your browser’s compatibility with cookies. This is devoid of personal data and is discarded post session closure. Upon successful login, multiple cookies are activated, retaining your login and display preferences. Depending on your choices, these can remain for two days to a year. We are a business that offers products to our clients in need of presentations and the above mentioned assets. As a private company we are owned by the individuals who run the business and it was self-funded.

We neither commercialize nor gratuitously distribute any user data, and do not personally share any visitor information other than what is collected by Google Analytics. Any personal information is offered only with explicit user consent (i.e. opt-in) in contexts such as ads, comments, or other forms of data contribution. This website predominantly features contributions from a sole individual, although and we have occasionally hosted content written by others. While we currently don’t employ or staff other individuals (and any technical assistance that the owner cannot make is done by the company that hosts the server), our doors are always open to diverse perspectives and insights. We do not currently have a newsletter or any other type of marketing emails, nor do we collect email addresses for this purpose.
